Nathan Yu is a dedicated teacher and composer based in Greater Vancouver, currently studying at the UBC School of Music. He has been playing piano for over a decade under the guidance of esteemed teacher Mark Kosacz and began composing at the age of 12. Nathan completed the Royal Conservatory of Music program up to Level 10 before pursuing further studies at university.

Since then, he has composed over 50 original works and creates piano covers of popular music, which he shares on his YouTube channel. Nathan’s experience as both a performer and composer informs his teaching, allowing him to inspire and guide students in their musical journeys. He is committed to fostering creativity and technical skills in his students, helping them grow as musicians.
