Gordon Wu

Director

Gordon Wu is a dedicated teacher and performer based in Greater Vancouver. Currently studying at the UBC School of Music, he has received instruction from various private piano teachers and completed the Royal Conservatory program up to ARCT before entering university.

Born in Vancouver, BC, Gordon began playing the piano at the age of six and has developed into a skilled pianist with extensive experience in competitions, recitals, and charity events. He has also had the privilege of participating in masterclasses led by esteemed university professors, including Dr. Corey Hamm and Dr. Rudy Rozanski.

Gordon is the director and instructor of the Royal Piano Academy, where he teaches students of various ages and skill levels. Gordon focuses on building foundational skills and preparing students for performances and examinations. His experience as a performer informs his teaching approach, ensuring that students receive practical and relevant instruction.
